Job Description

• The role of the Chief Operating Officer is to manage the company's proprietary investments, deal sourcing, execution and management of investments, Identifying viable investment opportunities, Project Evaluation, attraction of funding: debt/ equity to support projects.

Duties

• Strategy development and follow-on implementation.
• Providing on-going financial advice and assistance in fund raising.
• Overseeing the operations of company's hospitality businesses and infrastructure projects.
• Formulate investment strategy for target industries.
• Prepare and render management report to the company on a monthly basis.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of first degree in Engineering/Social Sciences field from a reputable university (2nd Degree will be added advantage)
• Minimum of 7 years hands-on experience within the financial services sector; as Investment Analyst with Private Equity/Venture capital background.
• Relevant post-graduation training and qualification (certification/ membership of professional bodies
• Proven ability to pre-identify liquidity and exit options prior to completing investments
• Track record of successes in achieving liquidity and exit targets for portfolio companies
• Ability to agree rate of returns on investments
• Sound knowledge of the economy and opportunities
• Good project evaluation, real estate/infrastructure development experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good industry knowledge especially in Lagos terrain
• Highly proficient in Microsoft presentation and report packages
• Grounded experience in dealing/liaising with 3rd party contractors to ensure quality service on schedule.
