Job Description
- The role of the Head of Corporate Finance Department is to advise companies, institutions and governments on how to achieve their financial goals and implement long and short-term financial plans.
- She/he will report to the Group Head, Investment Banking.
- Financial model development, valuation, benchmarking and client material preparation.
- Manage due diligence process
- Participate in transaction structuring and negotiations process
- Design business strategies and prepare business development materials
- Financial restructuring and Corporate Reorganization
- Merger, Acquisition and Divestitures financing, process management and advisory.
- Minimum of first degree in any management or social sciences fields from a reputable university (2nd Degree will be added advantage).
- Minimum of 5 years of recent investment banking experience in related role.
- Relevant post-graduation training and qualification (certification/professional bodies membership).
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of financial valuation concepts.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) skills and meticulous attention to details.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft presentation and report packages.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Excellent business management and developmental skills.
- Good leadership and organizational qualities.
- Ability to interpret instructions and execute effectively.
- Complex financial modelling and project management experience.
- Pro-active in making suggestions on valuation, process management and deal structuring.
- Track record of identifying and closing Corporate finance deals.
- Remunerations, terms and conditions of employment are competitive, motivational and negotiable.
